Let me tell you a little bit about me:
Back in the 1980s in NYC, when there wasn't a proliferation of different kayaks, kayak gear or any of the comforts we
have today, I put together a rag-a-muffin group of misfits called M.A.S.K. - the Metropolitan Association of Seakayakers.

We would show up at put-ins looking like recycled outdoor flea markets dressed in everything from Fisherman's
boots to diver's skull caps, etc. There just wasn't that much available to us as the sport wasn't established.

We all owned Klepper Double Folding Sea Kayaks which were around since the 1900's and were manufactured
in Germany. I have a website up with some of those original stories at

The website has been up for 10 years as a public service. I sell no seakayaking supplies or instruction.
It is very well linked and visited on the internet. I am in the process of an overhaul and I would like to
supply those interested with the most complete information available. Here's where you come in.
